Eva Hartmann

Eva Hartmann is a strategic Human Capital advisor and global Human Resources executive with expertise in HR strategy/execution, organizational transformation, global M&A, HR due diligence and integration, leadership development, and employee engagement and culture. She is an energetic leader and change agent with success in creating value and building strategic and scalable HR programs and platforms for companies within high-growth environments.

Eva has held a number of executive HR roles over the course of her career. She was most recently the CHRO for Luna Innovations, a global PE-backed fiber-optic technology company, and the CHRO of Schnabel Engineering, an award-winning high-growth engineering consulting company. She is also the founder and President of Trellis LLC, a boutique human capital consulting and staffing firm. Prior to Trellis, Eva was the Global HR Director for Tredegar Film Products, a global manufacturer of plastic film products.

Eva is a Past President of Richmond SHRM and a former adjunct MBA professor and mentor with the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business. Eva currently serves on the Board of The Richmond Forum and on the Advisory Board of ChangeEngine, an AI-powered HR software startup. Eva was a 2021 recipient of the inaugural Virginia Business publication’s Women in Leadership Award. She holds an MBA from the College of William and Mary and a BA in Anthropology from the University of Virginia.
