Boyd Nash-Stacey is a senior economist with BBVA Research in charge of U.S. macroeconomics analysis and economic scenarios. He joined the group in 2011. His research has focused on the factors driving the slowing prime-age labor force participation, the impact that lower oil prices have on the regional economies, how financial inclusion and access to financial services impact local economies, how Millennials stack up against their generational cohorts and the Federal Reserve Balance Sheet strategy. His work has been featured in Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal, Consensus Economics, Business Weekly, Business Insider, American Banker and Texas Monthly. Boyd earned a master’s degree in Applied Economics from the University of Houston and undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
