ACG New York's Women of Leadership Announces New Committee Chairs and Members


Women of Leadership Introduces New Committee Co-Chairs Laura Holden and Debbie Habib, Plus New Rotation of Committee Members

NEW YORK, Sept. 3, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Women of Leadership (WOL), a key network within ACG New York, the largest association of middle market dealmaking professionals in New York, today welcomed two new Co-Chairs: Laura Holden and Debbie Habib. WOL also announced a new rotation of Committee Members: Zoe Bogan, Marla Cannon, Jennifer Coughlin, and Kimberly C. Petillo-Décossard.

Ms. Holden and Ms. Habib will take over for Claudine Cohen, who has chaired the Committee for the past two years. WOL, an ACG network with a specific focus on the connections between women leaders in the deal-making community, has grown in the past few years.

Laura Holden is Director at Financo, an independent boutique investment bank. Ms. Holden focuses on mergers and acquisitions with further experience in equity capital raises for high-growth companies.

Debbie Habib is Vice President at Lindsay Goldberg, a private investment firm that focuses on partnering with family-owned and entrepreneur-led enterprises. Ms. Habib focuses on the development of Lindsay Goldberg’s investment pipeline and works closely with the firm’s affiliate partners.

In addition, WOL also named a new rotation of Committee Members: Zoe Bogan, Corporate Development at KPMG; Marla Cannon, Senior Vice President - Sponsor Finance at BBVA, Jennifer Coughlin, Vice President at Goldman Sachs; and Kimberly C. Petillo-Décossard, Partner at Cahill. Ms. Bogan, Ms. Cannon, Ms. Coughlin, and Ms. Petillo-Décossard will step up as current Committee Members Joana Bekerman, Sylvie Gadant, Carrie Di Lauro and Ellen Auwarter rotate out of their roles.

In recent years, ACG WOL has continued to grow and evolve. WOL’s charter requires a regular rotation at the committee level in order to prioritize the impact of all stakeholders, ensuring all have the opportunity to further WOL’s mission.

As WOL plans this leadership transition, the entire network expresses gratitude to the current Committee Members for their support as well as Ms. Cohen, for her many contributions as Chair.
