Welcome to ACG New York Middle Market Week (November 26-30).  This week, buyers and sellers, debt and equity providers, transactional and value creators, advisors and consultants—all focused on creating growth and value—will come together as an industry…the Middle Market.

As a nonprofit association, ACG New York created Middle Market Week to represent the industry as the hub of a vibrant community of dealmakers. In  2017, this community in New York collectively closed 183 middle market deals, valued at approximately $180 billion.

Now in its 2nd year, Middle Market Week consists of a series of events to encourage deal making activities among industry professionals.  We are encouraging leading middle market firms to hold meetings and events that will facilitate deal flow and promote New York as the center of middle market deal making activity.

This week PKF O’Connor will be holding our opening reception on Monday, followed on Tuesday by Akerman’s Deal Bridge, Capital Roundtable, ACG New York Private Equity to Private Equity One-on-One meetings, and a reception hosted by Greenberg Traurig and Plante Moran

On Wednesday, private equity firms and investment bankers will be conducting One-on-One meetings at Gotham Hall, followed by receptions from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm for ACG New York Family Offices, Women of Leadership and Forward groups.  From 6:00 pm-9:00 pm ACG New York’s Private Equity Wine Gala, the largest middle market event of the year, takes place with over 900 deal makers meeting 50 private equity firms and enjoying over 100 varietals of wine. Thursday, ACG New York will be holding its Regulatory breakfast at Winston & Strawn, featuring speaker Peter Coy, Economics Editor of Bloomberg…Join a panel of experts discussing the midterm election results and how it may impact the middle market business environment. Click Here to Register.

During Middle Market Week, the Royalton Hotel on 44 West 44th Street has been named the official “hang out” for Middle Market Week.  Need to meet other middle market professionals? You are welcome to meet in the lobby, bar, or have lunch at “44.” Please let the bartenders know you are part of Middle Market Week.

Thank you for participating in Middle Market Week and please let us know your suggestions on how we can continue to build for the future.
