ACG Orange County’s Rising Stars Program allows members who are under age 40 and have less than 14 years experience in their industry to participate in the Rising Stars track. (First year Rising Stars may join the chapter at a discounted rate of $195, which will increase to $225 effective January 1, 2020.) Rising Stars membership includes all of the benefits associated with a full membership.
Aimed at growing tomorrow’s superstars within the corporate and service advisor ranks, ACG OC’s Rising Stars track attracts up-and-coming talent interested in cultivating their business leadership skills through peer-desigend social and content-specific forums.
Our Rising Stars Program consists of the following events:
Monthly meetings (breakfasts or lunch) featuring a ten-minute presentation on industry trends from a participant.
The ‘Hot Summer Nights’ burgers and unlimited beer and wine event at the Bahia Yacht Club – the full membership is invited to join.
A spring and fall happy hour for Rising Stars.
Hosting the ACG Cup for Southern California, a full-day of competition among Southern California Business Schools for a $10,000 prize. The ACG Cup® is a case study competition designed to give students from leading MBA programs across the country real world experience and invaluable insights into mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, financial advisory and private equity. Each case study provides students with a unique opportunity to present valuation, capital markets and M&A strategic advice to a panel of seasoned M&A professionals from within the ACG community.
A series of classes designed for Rising Stars on a theme. This year we’ll hold three sessions on Public Speaking and the ’20-’21 year will feature four classes on Business Networking. (There is a charge to participate in this series.
