In light of the rapid escalation of COVID-19, we are postponing the March Breakfast Briefing for the health and safety of our community and as recommended by WHO, the CDC and our local health officials.  This topic is still important to the ACG Community and will be offered at our April briefing.   

If you have registered for this event already - 
  • If you can attend on the new date, your registration will automatically transfer, so no action is needed on your part. 
  • If you are unable to attend on the new date, we will issue a full refund.

In today’s highly competitive deal market, a laser focus on value creation is integral to a successful exit.  In March, we’ll explore best practices for building and leveraging boards of directors that will deliver on an investment thesis.

We’ll hear insights, war stories and best practices from control and minority investors, an independent director and counsel as we discuss:

  • Construction of boards: optimal makeup, size and roles
  • Interaction and functions with various constituencies (majority ownership directors vs others)
  • Value of outsiders / independent directors
  • Conflicts that may arise and potential resolutions
