This month we celebrate Jason Hardy. After graduating from Geneva College, Jason joined Grossman Yanak & Ford LLP in January 2006 as a staff associate in the Assurance & Advisory Services Group. Colleagues that have worked closely with Jason have seen him grow from a talented, hard-working college student to an extremely capable professional. At every career level, Jason has been enthusiastic, eager to learn, and willing to do what it takes to serve his clients. He gladly accepts opportunities to challenge himself and approaches new roles and assignments with passion and diligence.
Dedicated and conscientious, Jason has established his reputation for high technical competency and is respected and well-liked by his clients and his co-workers. He is also recognized as a team player who strives to bring the best out of all of his colleagues. He is an effective mentor who patiently coaches and teaches our younger staff to help them develop their professional abilities.
Jason also shares his skills by serving several nonprofit organizations. He is the Chair of the Finance Committee at Christ United Methodist Church and Treasurer for Metro Pittsburgh Youth for Christ and Mighty Penguins Sled Hockey. Jason is also a member of the Board of Directors of Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Jason was one of 37 national graduates of the 2015 AICPA Leadership Academy. In June 2021, Jason completed the Leadership Development Initiative, a Leadership Pittsburgh, Inc. program for high-potential professionals.
Jason is an active and engaged husband and father to three young children. Despite his heavy workload and community involvement, Jason makes sure he is able to participate not only as a supportive parent but also as a coach, troop leader, and volunteer for his children’s various activities.
