Join Y20 Seattle on Wednesday, October 25th as we bring together a dynamic panel to provide a comprehensive overview of the M&A process, including due diligence, valuation, legal and regulatory considerations, and post-merger integration. The panelists will share their experiences and insights on how they worked through actual deals, highlighting the challenges they faced and the strategies they used to overcome them. 

Cocktail reception begins at 5:00 pm and the panel discussion begins at 5:30 pm at the Washington Athletic Club (Top of the WAC).

Featured Panel:

Aaron Franzheim, Vice President, Meridian Capital - Aaron is a Vice President with Meridian Capital, with a focus on aerospace, defense & space and diversified industrials industries. As Vice President, Aaron plays a key role in transaction execution of both sell-side and buy-side engagements and supports the firm’s business development initiatives. Aaron joined Meridian in 2015 after working as an analyst for Financial Technology Partners in San Francisco. While at FT Partners, he performed M&A and capital raising services for companies operating in the payments space.

Adam Matherly, Attorney, Karr Tuttle Campbell - Adam D. Matherly is a shareholder at Karr Tuttle Campbell and leads the firm’s Emerging Companies & Venture Capital practice group.  He advises private, high-growth companies throughout their life cycles on securities, transactional, and intellectual property matters.  A large part of his practice, Adam routinely assists companies and venture/angel funds in connection with private securities offerings. 

Preston Smith, Director, Moss Adams - Preston has practiced public accounting since 2012 and began his career at Moss Adams with the assurance services practice where he focused on mid-market clients in the technology, healthcare, aerospace, manufacturing, transportation, and utility industries. He provided accounting services such as revenue recognition, consolidations advisory, goodwill impairment valuation, and business combinations consulting. In 2016, Preston’s experience with mergers and acquisitions allowed him to seamlessly transition to the transaction advisory practice where he works on both buy-side and sell-side deals across multiple industries providing M&A consulting, financial due diligence and quality of earnings reports.
