Join Y20 Seattle on Wednesday, May 20th at Karoo Cafe, for an engaging evening of networking and insight as we partner with Ventures to explore how local organizations are advancing meaningful economic impact across our region. This event will begin with a casual networking social, followed by a moderated conversation led by Y20 Committee Member Michael Rebagliati, Corporate & M&A Attorney, Holland & Knight.

Together, we’ll explore how Ventures is helping underrepresented entrepreneurs build and grow sustainable businesses through access to education, capital, coaching, and community. Their work is not only changing individual lives but also strengthening the broader Seattle economy.
Every CEO starts somewhere, and for many, that journey starts in basements, pop-up markets, shared kitchens, and living rooms. At Ventures, entrepreneurship is made accessible to all. This conversation will highlight how local entrepreneurs are rising above barriers to build thriving businesses and how we, as a community, can support them along the way.

About Ventures:
Ventures is a Seattle-based nonprofit organization that provides a comprehensive toolbox of resources to equip low-income entrepreneurs to build bridges out of poverty through small business ownership. Since 1995, Ventures has served more than 7,500 entrepreneurs with training, coaching, and support—including more than $1.4 million in loans, with a repayment rate near 100%.

Expect a thoughtful discussion on:
  • How small businesses are fueling local economic growth
  • The role of access, equity, and opportunity in entrepreneurship
  • Ways professionals can aid and connect with mission-driven organizations like Ventures
This is a great opportunity to interact with fellow Y20 members while gaining a fuller understanding of how one local organization is creating ongoing impact in our community.
