Venue Information

Browne Family Vineyards Seattle location had their grand opening on February 3rd, 2018. Andrew Browne, the proprietor, designed the space in tribute to his grandfather, William Bitner Browne, an inspiring man who studied wine in Bordeaux, France, and was a spy and “Nazi hunter” in WWII. He also had his own law practice in Ohio, and a true passion for wine. The tasting room is decorated with shadow boxes, books, letters that William wrote when he was in the war to his wife, and memorabilia to honor him. Each Browne bottle is dedicated to different member of Andrew’s family, and is premium Washington wine. Browne was 15 years in the making before its first vintage debuted, and he, and his winemaker, John Freeman, source grapes from all over the Columbia Valley.
