Dan Absher spent 32 years as CEO of Absher Construction. He stepped down in 2022 when he sold the company to its employees through an ESOP transaction. Dan remains involved today as the company's Board Chair. Absher Construction is one of the oldest and most versatile construction organizations in the Pacific Northwest. During Dan’s time as CEO, Absher grew steadily in both public and private sectors, including educational, commercial, healthcare, recreational, and transportation infrastructure. The firm has been regularly recognized as one of Engineering News-Record's Top 400 U.S. Contractors in the U.S. Dan recently published his book The Fab Four Pillars of Impact: Building Dynamic Teams The Beatles’ Way. Through his varied experience, Dan has learned that the greatest lessons in leadership, teambuilding, and organizational excellence did not come from textbooks, but from parenting, leading a successful business, coaching young athletes, and his lifelong passion for The Beatles.
