Overview

Body

As Covid-19 shows no sign of retreat and with Brexit and the US election on the horizon, this webinar discusses the recent challenges faced by mid-market M&A, explores how deal making will need to evolve over the coming months and what permanent shifts we might expect in the longer term.

In July, Growth Capital Partners successfully completed a deal with GTS Flexible Materials Group, an adhesives and flexible laminates manufacturer based in Wales. With the deal process underway pre-lockdown, what adaptions did they make to get the deal over the line and continue to make to ensure plans stay on track?

Chris Burgess, Group Managing Director, GTS and Ravi Monteiro, Investment Director, GCP discuss how they've navigated their way through. They will be joined by:

  • Mike Hicks, Founder, Catalysis Advisory
  • Gemma Phillips, Managing Associate, Corporate, Addleshaw Goddard
  • Natalie Stacey, Director, Corporate Finance, RSM Corporate Finance LLP

Drawing on their experience with both private equity and corporates, and having worked on deals during Covid-19, our expert panel will reflect on their experiences over the last few months and share thoughts on the road ahead, covering:

  • Sourcing deals and how to build rapport remotely
  • Access to debt finance
  • Building company and management team resilience
  • Approach to deals and adopting new technology
  • Deal structuring - immediate changes and future expectations

There will be opportunity for group discussion and to put your questions to the panel.
