ACG UK, the premier professional networking organisation for middle market M&A dealmaking professionals, is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Steering Committee member.
Joining the committee is Lucy Thorpe, Senior Associate at Charles Russell Speechlys’ London office.
Lucy succeeds Daniel Rosenberg on behalf of the firm and has previous volunteered on the Programme Committee. Daniel served since ACG UK’s inception in 2012 and we are delighted to have the firm’s continued involvement.
Lucy specialises in PE and M&A advisory and transactional work for private equity and venture capital investors, management teams and portfolio companies. Her experience includes advising on buy-side and sell-side transactions for both investors and management teams (with recent examples including the successful exits by FPE Capital of Creditcall and Small World), as well as bolt-on acquisitions for portfolio companies (most notably acting for the Civica Group (an investee company of Partners Group) on its “buy and build” strategy).
Lucy is admitted to practise in England and Wales.
Founded in 2012, ACG UK connects growing businesses with local and global capital markets, and helps to facilitate business relationships between deal making professionals such as capital providers, M&A advisors, corporate executives, accountants, lawyers and other related service providers in the middle market.
