Geoff Loos is the founder of Redrock Strategic Advisors, a middle-market investment bank built on a two-fold mission: delivering exceptional advisory services to clients navigating critical corporate transactions, and developing the next generation of industry-leading M&A professionals.
Over his 20+ year career, Mr. Loos has advised on more than $5.5 billion in completed transactions, working closely with founders, families, and management teams on critical business and ownership decisions. His practice centers on guiding founder-owned and family-held businesses through complex transactions—situations that often involve navigating unique dynamics around legacy, succession, stakeholder alignment, and long-term value creation alongside the technical demands of deal execution.
Mr. Loos brings deep experience across a range of transaction types, including mergers, acquisitions, corporate investments, management buyouts, recapitalizations, carveouts, and cross-border deals. He has built particular expertise in the industrial, technology, food & agriculture, consumer, and business services sectors, advising clients across the Mountain West and throughout the U.S. middle market.
Prior to founding Redrock, Mr. Loos was a Managing Director with CapM Advisors and a Director with D.A. Davidson's investment banking group, where he was a founding member of the firm's consumer and technology investment banking teams. These roles provided an ongoing opportunity to build and scale successful advisory practices from the ground up—experience that now shapes how he approaches both client work and team development at Redrock.
Mr. Loos resides in Utah with his wife and three kids. He is passionate about mentoring emerging professionals in the industry and actively supports the growth of the local business community.
