Yelena Svetlichnaya is a Manager in the CliftonLarsonAllen LLP Transaction Tax Group. She has more than 10 years in public accounting experience, including significant experience serving multinational corporations, private equity firms, and closely held businesses with transaction tax planning, domestic and cross-border transaction structuring and planning, compliance, and consulting.
Yelena brings deep technical expertise in tax structuring for mergers and acquisitions, advising clients on complex tax and business issues—including state and local tax efficiencies and pre- and post-close transaction strategies. Her hands-on capabilities span net cash proceeds analysis, comparative transaction analysis with gross-ups, transaction cost analysis, and Section 382 limitation calculations. She works closely with cross-functional deal teams—including attorneys, investment bankers, and financial advisors—to deliver integrated, practical solutions throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Yelena holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Loyola University Chicago and a Masters of Taxation from Depaul University.
