Anti-Spam Notice

Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) regulates the transmission of electronic messages for commercial purposes.  ACG Calgary has put in place policies and procedures intended to foster compliance with both the letter and spirit of CASL.

Generally speaking, CASL prohibits an organization from sending a commercial electronic message (CEM) to an individual unless (1) the organization has the consent of the recipient; or (2) the message is exempt.  ACG Calgary requires all of its personnel to comply with these CASL rules when sending CEMs on behalf of ACG.

If you use the “Refer a Friend” feature located on our website, you must ensure that you do so in compliance with CASL.  ACG Calgary provides this functionality for the purpose of allowing members to encourage other individuals with whom they hold personal relationships to consider the benefits of joining ACG Calgary.  It is not intended to be used to solicit unrelated third parties.  If we determine that you have used the “Refer a Friend” feature improperly, we may suspend or terminate your access to that feature or the ACG Calgary website.

If you believe that you have received improper or unwanted communications from ACG Calgary, please contact us so that we can investigate and resolve your problem.  In accordance with CASL, ACG Calgary honours all unsubscribe requests promptly.
