Middle Market Growth-Digital Publication Latest News And Announcements Chapter Innovation Fund (CIF). The goal of the Chapter Innovation Fund is to spur innovation, spark creativity and strengthen capacity to benefit all members of ACG. One-time grants of up to $10,000 per chapter will be awarded annually to seed or support new chapter-based initiatives. Grant applications will be reviewed twice a year: January and June. The next deadline for consideration is *Friday, June 7, 2013.* The 2013 first round winners of the fund are listed below. For an update on June 2012's winners click here. President’s Award for Excellence and Achievement as a Chapter Executive This year's winner is Lou Halstead of ACG New York. Lou will be recognized at the Chapter Leaders Conference in Orlando on the afternoon of Monday, April 22. She will also be recognized at the annual meeting of Chapter Executives in June in Chicago. ACG Releases First Ever "Middle-Market Growth Policy Agenda" ACG has released its first ever "Middle-Market Growth Policy Agenda," a statement of the organization’s official position on relevant policy topics directly affecting its members. ACG members include professionals from private equity firms, corporations and lenders that invest in middle-market companies, as well as from law, accounting, investment banking and other firms that provide advisory services. Dues Change Policy Update Please take a look the policy update regarding important information that relates to a chapter's ability to change dues during the upcoming AMS transition. Driving Growth: The Impact of Private Capital on the U.S. Economy At ACG’s Middle-Market Growth Public Policy Summit, held in Washington, D.C., ACG unveiled Driving Growth: The Impact of Private Capital on the U.S. Economy, a book that graphically depicts data from GrowthEconomy.org for each congressional district. The data included in Driving Growth are available for all chapters to use at their events, in their communications to members and in external media outreach. Past News And Announcements Chapter Collateral Store ACG Global is proud to announce the opening of the ACG Chapter Collateral Store. Via this store, all chapter executives will have the opportunity to purchase and print personalized versions of the following: ACG membership brochure, ACG membership brochure envelopes, ACG business cards, ACG letterhead, ACG envelopes (#10), Thank You Cards and envelopes. Contact Kerry Lennon: klennon@acg.org. Chapter Staff Development Matching Grant ACG recognizes the importance of professional development. ACG will offer matching funds of up to $750 per year, per applicant to support professional development for chapter executives and staff. Development funds are limited to CAE prep, association management education and membership in ASAE or association management allied society. Total funding for this effort is $15,000 for fiscal year 2013 and will be provided on a first come, first serve basis until the fund is used. Consulting Services A consulting service gives chapters the opportunity to utilize the experience and expertise of the staff on a complimentary basis. Services include board training, membership recruitment planning, strategic planning and financial systems review. ACG Cup The ACG Cup is a case study competition designed to give students from leading MBA programs across the country real world experience and invaluable insights into mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, financial advisory and private equity. AMS Update Launching in late 2013, ACG will partner with Avectra for our new Association Management System (AMS). Chapters will benefit from many functionalities that will be available in the new AMS. These include member engagement tracking, flexibility in membership structure and pricing, self-service functions for speaker management and abstract/manuscript submissions, mobile access and multiple transactions covered by a single payment.
