ACG 2015-16 Board of Directors Call for Nominations
At-Large Director positions for nominations for the ACG Board of Directors are currently being accepted for the 2015-2016 ACG Board of Directors. At-Large Directors serve a three-year, nonrenewable term of office.

This section will provide regular updates on the progress of the implementation of ACG’s new association management system (AMS), known as netForum.

ACG Chapters of the Year Announced
The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), the global organization focused on driving middle-market growth, announced the winners of the annual "Chapter of the Year" honors. Awards are presented in three categories based on a chapter’s membership size. This year’s winners are:
  • ACG Indiana
  • ACG Los Angeles
  • ACG Wisconsin

President’s Award for Excellence and Achievement as a Chapter Executive

2014's winner is Christy Dancause of ACG Boston. Christy will be recognized at the Chapter Leaders Reception at InterGrowth in Las Vegas on the afternoon of Monday, April 28. She will also be recognized at the annual meeting of Chapter Executives in June in Chicago.

Chapter Innovation Fund (CIF)
The goal of the Chapter Innovation Fund is to spur innovation, spark creativity and strengthen capacity to benefit all members of ACG. One-time grants of up to $10,000 per chapter will be awarded annually to seed or support new chapter-based initiatives. Grant applications will be reviewed twice a year: January and June.  

Chapter Collateral Store
ACG Global is proud to announce the opening of the ACG Chapter Collateral Store. Via this store, all chapter executives will have the opportunity to purchase and print personalized versions of the following: ACG membership brochure, ACG membership brochure envelopes, ACG business cards, ACG letterhead, ACG envelopes (#10), Thank You Cards and envelopes. Chapter Staff Development Matching Grant

ACG recognizes the importance of professional development. ACG will offer matching funds of up to $750 per year, per applicant to support professional development for chapter executives and staff. Development funds are limited to CAE prep, association management education and membership in ASAE or association management allied society. Total funding for this effort is $15,000 for fiscal year 2013 and will be provided on a first come, first serve basis until the fund is used.

A great way to utilize the Professional Development Fund is by sitting for the CAE exam. A link to the exam content can be found here.

Consulting Services
A consulting service gives chapters the opportunity to utilize the experience and expertise of the staff on a complimentary basis. Services include board training, membership recruitment planning, strategic planning and financial systems review.

Public Policy News
Members of Congress Create Bi-Partisan Congressional Caucus for Middle Market Growth
The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), the global organization focused on driving middle-market growth, commends Members of Congress for forming the bipartisan Congressional Caucus for Middle Market Growth. Under the leadership of Representatives Steve Stivers (R-OH-15), Jared Polis (D-CO-2), Tom Rice (R-SC-7) and Brad Schneider (D-IL-10) the recently formed Caucus will educate policy makers and leaders on economic impact of the middle market and how it serves as a powerful engine for job and economic growth. According to the National Center for the Middle Market, a collaboration between The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and GE Capital, the middle market includes companies with $10 million to $1 billion in annual revenues. The Caucus will address issues relevant to this critical segment, which employs more than 44 million people in the United States.

ACG Releases First Ever "Middle-Market Growth Policy Agenda"
ACG has released its first ever "Middle-Market Growth Policy Agenda," a statement of the organization’s official position on relevant policy topics directly affecting its members. Driving Growth: The Impact of Private Capital on the U.S. Economy
