The ACG CUP
®
The Premier MBA Competition
Hosted by ACG Orlando, the ACG Cup® is a unique case study competition designed to give students from leading MBA programs across the country real world experience and invaluable insights into mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, financial advisory and private equity. Each case study provides students with a unique opportunity to present valuation, capital markets and M&A strategic advice to a panel of seasoned M&A professionals from within the ACG community. The competition is carried out through a series of intra-school and regional competitions, with regional winners awarded the prestigious ACG Cup® title and cash awards.
Benefits to Students
• Exposure to leading finance professionals and organizations in Central Florida for potential employment
• Learn about corporate finance from the perspective of the owner, the buyer, the financial advisor, the equity investors, the debt providers and the management team
• Highly realistic case study provides unique, relevant experience in a team-oriented setting
• Winning teams receive meaningful cash rewards

Case Study
- The Finance / Investment Banking / Private Equity case study is prepared by Houlihan Lokey (www.hlhz.com), with contributions from other ACG finance professionals, and distributed to teams and judges one week in advance. Round 1 Competition
- Each team presents at their own school to a panel of judges in Round 1. The panel of judges will include local finance professionals in investment banking, private equity and debt.
Finals
- One team from each school competes in the Finals on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at The University Club in Tampa. All teams will receive the opportunity to attend an ACG Orlando meeting and interact with members. Winning teams receive cash rewards.
