Introduce us to your day job, title and responsibilities.

I am the Regional Sales Manager for Wells Fargo Commercial Banking in the LA North Market and partner with middle market companies in the Los Angeles, Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank, San Fernando Valley and San Gabriel Valley areas with annual revenues between $20 million and $3 billion.  I work to make meaningful introductions and help companies achieve their financial goals through various solutions and connections.  I have been with the bank for just about four years now and have really enjoyed the challenge of learning a new industry and strategic ways to support our customers.

What inspired you to pursue a job in this industry?

In my previous life, I was the Managing Director for a management consulting firm located in Woodland Hills, providing experienced finance and accounting consultants to companies seeking assistance on a project, interim or interim-to-hire assignments. Before joining the bank, I was a great friend and networking partner to several of my now colleagues here at Wells Fargo and often co-hosted CFO roundtables and networking events together.  When the opportunity to join the team arose, I jumped at the chance to work with such a dynamic team and looked forward to supporting middle market companies hit their strategic growth goals financially.

Why was it important for you to be involved in ACG 101 at the Board level?

I was first introduced to ACG 101 when I joined the board for Women in Corporate Growth (WCG), a chapter of ACG 101, in 2015 after I was introduced to the ever inspirational WCG founder, Nicole Carnation, through my now colleague and WCG co-chair, Lisa Murgia.  WCG quickly became near and dear to my heart and I was over the moon to further my involvement with ACG 101 when I was asked to join the board in 2016.  It has been an honor to collaborate with such amazing minds and influencers in our market.  I am extremely proud of the awareness and connections we have helped to foster in our community along the 101 corridor.  I have made lasting friendships and meaningful professional relationships due wholly to my involvement with the board.  The board works hard to bring likeminded professionals together and spotlight phenomenal companies headquartered in our backyard.

Describe your current responsibilities on the Board, if applicable.

I am the co-chair for the Women in Corporate Growth, and help plan and coordinate our annual Women’s Luncheon every January where we spotlight women business owners and encourage them to share their journey with a group of female professionals from all walks of life and at different stages in their career.  In the past, I have also had the opportunity to be a part of the planning committee for our Stars of the 101 awards dinner that we host every November and most recently I had the pleasure of spearheading our very first tech panel this last February.

What is your favorite thing about ACG 101?

My favorite thing about ACG 101 would have to be the people.  I can’t say enough how much I have enjoyed and benefited from the connections I have made through this organization.

What excites you most about the direction of ACG 101, and how will you contribute to it?

I am really excited with the direction our President, Andrea Light, has taken us this last year.  She started out with a bang and has shaken things up in a really refreshing way.  We have broadened our horizons by looking at new topics, industries, venues and exciting ways to bring people together.  I look forward to getting back on track after COVID and help support future events.

3 Fun Facts

Three fun facts about me that some people might not know are that I grew up in Las Vegas before moving here about 17 years ago. Second, it was my lifelong dream to move to California to be near the beach. I was so passionate about it I moved to Huntington Beach without knowing a soul and rented an apartment sight unseen. Third, I actually just got married this last March. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to have our ceremony in Mexico as planned due to COVID-19. We are planning on renewing our vows next year in Mexico as we had originally planned with a small group of friends and family. Crossing our fingers we are open for travel by then!
