Frequently Asked Questions about GEAR

What is GEAR?

The Growth Equity-backed Executive Atlanta Roundtable (GEAR) is a network of growth equity-backed, c-suite executives that offers topical, insightful programs driven by peer CEOs and CFOs. Each gathering offers ample time for networking, idea sharing and group discussion in a confidential peer only environment.

Why should I be part of this network?

The value of this confidential, peer only network is the opportunity to:

  • Engage with a community of like-minded executives who live the challenges and opportunities of Growth Equity backing.
  • Collaborate with peers to gain exposure to ideas and managerial tactics that can help drive growth and optimize the relationship with your equity partner.
  • Share experiences and best practices to succeed at every turn, from navigating the investment process and managing growth to planning a future exit.

What should I expect?

We have 5 simple guidelines:

  • Events are Invitation Only to executives at current or recently exited Growth Equity-backed companies
  • Seating is limited to keep our sessions intimate and interactive
  • Discussions are 100% confidential, affording attendees the opportunity to speak openly
  • Attendees should be prepared to discuss what you do know, and ask questions about what you don't
  • Critical issues faced by Growth Equity-backed companies are addressed and we always encourage feedback to guide future topics

I'm a C-Level executive at a Growth Equity Backed Company, how do I get an invitation to participate?
