Nancy Bistritz-Balkan is Vice President, Client Marketing & Corporate Communications at Purchasing Power®. In this capacity, she oversees all strategic and operational activities representing the spectrum of business-to-business marketing and corporate communications efforts at the company. Nancy boasts nearly 30 years of strategic leadership communications experience, including agency and corporate public relations, crisis communications, marketing, Board communications, and editorial leadership. She is a former editor-in-chief and has extensive experiencein the cybersecurity, telecom industry, financial services industry, and commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining Purchasing Power, she was director, cybersecurity communications at McKesson, where she was charged with creating a communications function within the cybersecurity organization at the Fortune 9 company. Reporting to the Global CISO and working closely with the Global Chief Technology Officer, she was also responsible for the oversight and communications of cybersecurity metrics throughout the company and oversaw the company’s cybersecurity training efforts. While at McKesson, she helped lead the company’s first cybersecurity training exercise with the Board of Directors. Before joining McKesson, Nancy was vice president of communications and consumer education at Equifax, where she founded the company’s consumer credit education program. During her tenure at Equifax, she was a recipient of the Annual Chairman’s Circle of Excellence Award. Nancy received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Auburn University in Auburn, Ala, where she received the Lynne Hopkins Scholarship for Journalism dedication. She is a former board member for Atlanta Woman in Communication; a previous board member for the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association (AiMA); and an ongoing volunteer for the Lupus Foundation of America, Georgia Chapter, where she founded the FRIEND network, a support group for patients newly diagnosed with Lupus.
