ACG Charlotte is excited to host Casey Chapman, Principal in Management Consulting at RSM, for an informative program on scaling for growth followed by a networking reception.

While many companies are acquired with expectations for organic and acquisitive growth, with a great deal of focus on alignment around a commercial strategy, there is often times internal misalignment around the best way to structure the business and make investments to seize the expected opportunities. The uncertainty within management and between management and the board can cause significant missteps and delays in the value creation journey for the investment.

A fact-based and data-driven approach to evaluating various strategic scenarios and their respective trade-offs will align the management team and board around a specific operating strategy, the relative risks and benefits, and the building blocks and investments necessary to make it a reality within the investment cycle. This framework is most often used post-close of either a platform or significant add-on acquisition, but can also be used in the early stages of a sell-side transaction as a mechanism to identify and take immediate action to drive run-rate EBITDA and potentially articulate a value play opportunity to potential investors.
