With the pandemic profoundly impacting gender roles on the home front, will a lasting impact be an increase in women entrepreneurs?  Join Stacey Browning of CincyTech and a panel of women entrepreneurs to glean the latest thinking. Program will be followed by small group break-out networking sessions for those who can stay.

Managing Director

Stacey Browning is Managing Director of CincyTech, an Ohio-based venture capital firm making seed-stage investments in digital and life sciences companies with ties to the Cincinnati region.  Previously, Stacey was President of Paycor, where following her start in sales Employee #11, she served as a critical motivator and change agent in senior marketing, product development, IT, HR, and customer service roles. Significantly, she was Paycor's first Chief Product Officer and is known for her focus on the customer and emphasis on user experience.

 

Stacey is active in the community serving as a Board Member of the Health Collaborative, is a co-founder of Cincinnati’s Flying Pig Marathon, Committee of 200 member, a YWCA Career Woman of Achievement and received The Circuit’s 2019 Technology Visionary Award. She regularly finds time to help other businesses and is presently a Board Advisor for InfoTrust, a digital marketing analytics. She speaks regularly on the topics of scaling businesses, personal branding, and furthering the careers of women in technical leadership. As a Forbes HR Council member, has been regularly featured at Forbes.com.

Lindsay Knight

Managing Director - CV Platform

Lindsay Knight manages Chicago Venture's Platform, the firm's "post investment" team. She works directly with the firm's 50+ active portfolio companies on matchmaking talent; connecting into customers, marketing, communication and PR, and building community, content, and events to help scale up and skill up more efficiently.  She's also a Kauffman Fellow, Class 23.  

Prior to joining Chicago Ventures, Lindsay spent time at Ocean Tomo, an intellectual property merchant bank, where she was part of the team that launched the industry’s first live patent auctions. She later joined CHOUmedia as Vice President, where she worked with clients in the IP industry on marketing strategy and execution.

In 2018, Lindsay launched Chicago:Blend, a collaborative effort of venture capitalists in Chicago who know that diverse teams and inclusive environments are critical foundations for both the startups we invest in and our own venture firms. She’s a Chair of the VC Platform Global Community, and is a part of the Ms.Tech Associate Council. She also serves on the Governing Board at Lookingglass Theatre, a Tony-award winning theatre that focuses on the spectacular and the physical. She graduated from the Miami University Honors Program with degrees in English/Journalism and Strategic Communication.

She started swimming when she was 5, and has been hooked on triathlons since 2012.

Dr. Rachel Angel

Founder

Angel is now Dr. Rachel Angel, having worked her way through six years of university to earn a Doctor of Pharmacy, or PharmD, degree.  While she began her career as a licensed pharmacist, she found inspiration in those early hourly jobs that put money in her pocket and enabled her to forge a path forward.

She founded Peerro, a career pathway management system enabling young people without college degrees to develop skills and land jobs that lead to advancement and financial independence.
