As Managing Partner of Strength Capital, Mike Bergeron focuses on business valuation, deal sourcing, portfolio monitoring, and capital raising.

Prior to the launch of Strength Capital, Mike worked as a Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble and as an Equity Analyst at T. Rowe Price.

Mike is a board member of three of Strength Capital's investments; AmeriClean Distributors, DTM Distributors and Tiedemann-Bevs Industries. 

Mike graduated with honors from Miami University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He also earned his MBA from Harvard University.

During his undergraduate years, Mike interned in the White House Office of Political Affairs for President George H.W. Bush.

Mike is the past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Summit Country Day School. Mike has three kids with his wife Annie, and he enjoys working out, reading, and travel.

David Cardell

Dave Cardell is responsible for the Commercial Banking Teams in Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Butler/Warren Counties. His goal is to provide mutually beneficial banking relationships for entities with borrowing needs ranging from $2,000,000 to $20,000,000.

As a corporate lawyer, Michael counsels clients on a broad range of business and legal concerns, with a focus on representing both buyers and sellers from a broad cross-section of industries in the merger, acquisition or divestiture process, and assisting clients access the capital markets through angel and venture funding rounds.  As part of Calfee’s Privacy & Data Security Group, Michael specializes in allocating transactional risks associated with data privacy and security protocols and policies, cross-jurisdiction data transfers, and compliance with related laws and regulations.  A representative list of the public and privately-held companies with whom Michael works is: Installed Building Products (NYSE: IBP), Marsh, Berry & Co., Inc., Americhem, Inc., Linsalata Capital Partners, RPM International Inc. (NYSE: RPM), Park-Ohio Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: PKOH), RKCA, and MCM Capital Partners.

Michael has been named to the Ohio Rising Stars List (2016-2018) for Mergers & Acquisitions by Super Lawyers. He was named a "Cincy Leading Lawyer" by Cincinnati Magazine(2018). 

Jason Motz

Jason joined Northcreek Mezzanine in June of 2016 and currently serves as a Senior Associate.  Jason is primarily responsible for business development and new deal origination, and also focuses on underwriting, structuring, and deal execution.

Most recently, Jason was an Associate at KeyBanc Capital Markets in Cleveland, OH for seven years, where his primary roles included underwriting, structuring, and syndicating senior/high yield debt for sponsor backed, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations.

Jason has a BSBA in Finance, Economics, and International Business from The Ohio State University.
