2019 Distinguished Alumni Honoree

Aric Hassel, Senior Vice President, Commerce Bank

As a Senior Vice President in the Corporate Banking Division of Commerce Bank, Aric Hassel serves as a trusted advisor to middle-market companies (i.e. annual revenues between $10MM to $500MM), as well as healthcare, educational and not-for-profit institutions located throughout Greater Cincinnati, Dayton, Northern Kentucky, Lexington and Louisville. In addition to guidance and advice, Aric provides access to banking products and services such as loans, equipment leases and treasury management.

Dan Barnett, Portfolio Manager, Johnson Investment

Dan joined Johnson Investment Counsel in 2010, and now serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager. Before coming to the firm, he worked at Morgan Stanley, Inc., as a Financial Advisor and at CGI Group, as a Financial Analyst.

 

 

 

2017 Distinguished Alumni Honoree

Shashank Saxena, Senior Director of Strategy Development & Integration, The Kroger Company
An alumni of the 2008 Winning Team from University of Cincinnati, Shashank serves as the Senior Director of Strategy Development and Integration for The Kroger Company. Shashank holds an MBA in Finance and MS in Information Systems from the University of Cincinnati as well as a BS in Computer Science from Troy State University.  He has served as an adjunct faculty member at UC's Lindner College of Business, where he taught digital marketing.  He is a mentor at the Brandery; Kroger's liaison to Cintrifuse and serves on the Lindner MBA Advisory Board.

 

2016 Distinguished Alumni Honoree

Michael Neugent, Assistant Professor-Educator and Academic Director of the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business Masters of Finance Program

Mike Neugent participated in the 2009 ACG Cup. He continued his association with the program by serving as a volunteer coach and judge for many years while serving as a wealth advisor for Morgan Stanley.  Mike's passion for mentoring students led to his appointment as the Academic Director of UC's MS Financie Program.  In this role, he has taught a course around the ACG Cup competition tailored to students seeking a career in finance. 

 

2015 Distinguished Alumni Honoree

Luke Barber, Vice President of Corporate Development for ProMach.

Luke is a 2010 graduate of the Miami University MBA Program and a 2010 Alumni of the ACG Cup Program. After interning with such firms as Lone Star Funds, Draper Triangle Ventures and Payne Heyboer Group (in Vietnam), Luke joined ProMach as VP of Corporate Development.  Reporting to the CEO, Luke has been responsible for identifying and engaging 14 acquisition targets.  He has been honored by M&A Advisor as one of the 40 Under 40 Winners in the Deal Making Category.
