Join us August 5th for the annual summer social wine tasting event featuring sommelier Jason Kallsen on The Economics of Wine: Understanding, Purchasing, Enjoying, and Investing.

Why do some wines cost $20 and others $2000? What market forces determine the ‘value’ of a glass of fermented grape juice? What trends are we seeing in the economics of the wine world? Is wine a good investment? (Hint: it sure can be!)

All of these questions and more will be addressed in our gathering, as sommelier and wine business specialist Jason Kallsen steps us through a fast-paced hour of wine education and tasting. We’ll enjoy a range of wonderful wines while discussing the topics around value, price, importation, collecting, and enjoying our favorite beverage. Featured in the tasting will be rarities and superstars from the top regions of the world.
