ACG Minnesota, along with VisionOne, AMAA and the Exit Planning Institute, are teaming up with the SBA Office of Advocacy to host a week of roundtable events in the Twin Cities.

Space is limited so register early! (Click here to register.)

These valuable information gathering events take place around the country involving businesses, federal agency officials and advocacy headquarters staff and regional advocates to hear your voice. The purpose of the Advocacy’s regional regulatory roundtables is to capture the voice of business owners, in order to work with legislators and government agencies to eliminate unnecessary regulations that stifle growth of small business. In 2017, these efforts resulted in over $900 million in regulatory cost savings for small businesses. This is your opportunity to have a voice into future regulatory reform!

These roundtables are for owner/operators, industry association leaders, CEO roundtable leaders, government agencies, government officials and business trusted advisors. The purpose of these roundtables will be to educate you on the efforts of Advocacy, hear the regulatory concerns of business owners, and to determine how you can be involved in this initiative going forward. These roundtables will focus on workforce development, access to capital and general regulatory reform that is needed in Minnesota.

KEY TOPICS:
Workforce Development
Access to Capital
General Regulatory Reform

The Office of Advocacy is the independent voice for business within the federal government. Advocacy accomplishes this goal by guaranteeing that business views are heard in the regulatory process and by providing policymakers and business stakeholders with the knowledge they need to advance the business economy. In order to carry out this mission, Advocacy focuses on regulations, research, and outreach. Advocacy attorneys educate federal regulators about their obligation to consider the impact of regulations on small entities and work with them to consider possible alternatives. Advocacy economists research the issues that matter most to small business, and the Regional Advocates keep an open line of communication to businesses all across the country
