Amivero – Thankful Hearts, Helpful Hands (THHH)

THHH was initiated in November 2020, as an annual service event hosted to express gratitude towards employees, customers, and partners, and to pay it forward by giving back to philanthropies in the community. All employees are invited to submit "thankfuls" (thank you notes) - these notes share specific thankful messages to coworkers, managers, partners, and customers. Amivero also asks all employees to nominate philanthropies for consideration and hold a company-wide vote to make a final selection on what charity to donate to for the year. In 2022, with 87 employees participating, the event generated $5,230 for Women Who Code. In addition to monetary contributions, Amivero employees have volunteered 80 service hours to Boulder Crest in 2021.

Baker Tilly - The JK Community Farm

The JK Community Farm is a 150-acre working farm practicing regenerative, sustainable, chemical-free four-season agriculture, and growing solely for the food insecure. Their goal is to enhance the quality of life for those people by creating access to fresh food, and food education, with a focus on regenerative agriculture. Baker Tilly supports The JK Community through volunteerism.

Highlight Technologies – HighlightCares

HighlightCares is a community service effort to give back to employees’ local neighborhoods and the planet. In 2022, the program encapsulated multiple initiatives supporting chosen and impactful causes, including children’s literacy, veterans, the environment, and in support of food security. Each program includes a combination of services, donations, and t-shirt profits in support of the partner organization of the year. Overall, in 2022 the team donated 100 hours of service, including over 11 different types of volunteer work, supporting over 16 National and Local organizations, and over $40,000 donated.

RIVA – Staying Connected

Staying Connected is a GovCon event, which brings together industry leaders to raise awareness and donations for a local charity each year. Last year’s event was attended by 300+ industry and federal employees raising over $35,000. A massive employee effort to support the production of Staying Connected, 20+ individuals volunteered over 200 hours of time beyond their daily responsibilities at RIVA. The 2022 beneficiary, Byte Back, is a DC-based non-profit on a mission to close the digital divide by providing under-resourced communities an equitable pathway into the digital economy.
