Roll-up transactions can be effective in
consolidating smaller businesses in fragmented industries. Roll-ups are often highly complex, with
operational, financial and tax challenges unique to those transactions.
This year, 18 independently-owned and managed tenant brokerages around the country operating under the “Cresa” brand name, simultaneously merged into Cresa Global, a newly formed platform company, creating a new large player in the industry.
