Rising Stars assembles a cross section of professionals including investment bankers, private equity investors, attorneys, capital providers, and other M&A service providers/partners.
Comprised of five curated sessions, Rising Stars targets younger professionals who may or may not be current ACG members. The program continues to feature valuable networking opportunities and networking skills development workshops, as well as educational content relevant for middle market professionals.
Potential topics include:
- Networking: How to jumpstart you networking efforts with best practices
- Networking: Developing a unique angle to market yourself and your firm
- IBs market? What happens prior to term sheet?
- Educational: Legal – Common documents: Confidentiality, Term Sheet, Letter of Intent, etc.
- Educational: Commercial Banker – How do they support the deal process?
Ideal Rising Stars candidates will fit the following profile:
- 5+ years of experience and top players in your firm with strong command of their business.
- Nominee should express a desire to network and be active in ACG.
- Nominee should be willing to commit to attend the series of events (with support from nominating firm) and be an engaged participant.
Program Costs: $700 registration fee includes a full one-year ACG MN annual membership ($500 value).
