Brent Graves is a seasoned construction professional with well over three decades of dedicated experience in the commercial construction industry and development projects. Holding Class A General Contractor licenses in both Virginia and Florida, he is recognized for his precision, strategic vision, and hands-on approach to complex construction and design-build endeavors.

His recent projects include:

  • The Berkeley Hotel
  • GreenGate – Markel | Eagle – The Commercial development portion of this Mixed-Use project – Eight (8 each) Retail + Medical Office Building
  • Virginia Housing & Development Authority (VHDA) - Now known as Virginia Housing – Headquarters Office Building
  • Uptown Alley
  • Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront

He had a B.S. in Building Construction from the Virginia Tech, College of Architecture.

He is engaged in various community organizations serving as a member of the Associated General Contractors of Virginia (AGC) and Richmond Real Estate Group as well as serves on the Library Board of Trustees for the City of Richmond and is Property Chairperson at St Mark’s Episcopal Church.

Daniel Strait is a director in 3North’s Commercial Studio and has been with firm since 2014. His experience as an architect covers a wide array of project types from the American Civil War Museum to Luck Stone and The Martin Agency. Most recently, he has been focused on leading some of Richmond’s biggest cultural projects such as the Allianz Amphitheater and the upcoming improvements on Brown’s Island. With a Bachelor of Architecture and a minor in Landscape Architecture from Virginia Tech, Daniel brings a keen eye for how the built environment shapes experiences and relationships—a perspective inspired by time spent observing cafés across Europe and America.
