Panelist Collier McRae brings both middle-market and Wall Street investment banking experience to the firm, having advised clients ranging from founder- and family-owned businesses to leading private equity firms and publicly traded corporations. Collier’s background in both investment banking and corporate law provides VRA clients with a uniquely comprehensive skill set that covers every facet of M&A and capital-raising transactions. Collier started his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Solomon Partners in New York City, where he advised industry-leading clients on capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and capital structure alternatives. Prior to his investment banking career, Collier worked as a summer associate at various corporate law firms, including King & Spalding and Paul Hastings, and taught elementary school through the DC Teaching Fellows Program in Washington, DC. Collier received a BA from Washington and Lee University and a JD/MBA from the University of Georgia.
