Kevin Dancy

Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta
Vice President & Regional Executive

Kevin Dancy is vice president and regional executive at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He is responsible for the Atlanta Fed's Regional Economic Information Network (REIN) in the state of Georgia, where he collects and synthesizes economic intelligence from business and community leaders throughout the state to bring Main Street insights to the monetary policy process. Kevin also oversees the District's Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council and serves as a key contributor to the Bank’s outreach activities in the Georgia region.


Kevin joined the Atlanta Fed in 2023 as assistant vice president in Operations and Administrative Services where he managed facilities and cash operations in the Miami branch. Prior to that, he served as corporate secretary and assistant vice president at the Richmond Fed where he oversaw the Fifth District’s boards of directors and as community development advisor at the Dallas Fed managing the community development function for the southeastern and western regions of Texas. Before his career with the Federal Reserve System, he was an attorney and served as deputy chief of staff for a member of the US House of Representatives.


Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in administration of justice from Texas Southern University; master’s of laws and public administration degrees from Texas A&M University and the University of Houston, respectively. He received his juris doctor degree from Texas Southern University. Most recently, he completed certificates in executive leadership, change management and performance leadership from Cornell University.
