A seasoned executive with a talent for growing businesses, Howard came to EMC from Valspar where he had total management responsibility for its $2.5 billion Industrial Coatings portfolio.

During his career, he moved extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe for executive, manufacturing and engineering management roles at Newell Rubbermaid, Bemrose Corporation and Square D Company.

Howard holds a Master’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Iowa State University.
