Vice President, Aerospace Strategic Partnerships

Oren Schmidt is a seasoned aerospace and defense executive with more than 25 years
of experience across M&A, international business development, strategic marketing,
pricing, operations, and team leadership. He built and scaled a niche fluid conveyance
product distribution and technical services business into a globally recognized platform
serving leading OEM and aftermarket customers, generating consistent year-over-year
revenue and earnings growth before selling the business to Marmon Holdings,
Berkshire Hathaway.
He has since held senior leadership roles at both Marmon Holdings and TransDigm.
Today, Oren serves as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships for Future Materials at
Marmon, where he leads strategic marketing, organic and inorganic growth initiatives
across the 3 Future Materials brands Orkal, Future Metals and Aero Hose. His blend of
entrepreneurial, operating, and acquisition experience gives him a highly relevant
perspective on aerospace and defense M&A.

About Future Materials
With more than 50 years of experience and 14 global locations, Future Materials is the
only distributor stocking fluid conveyance products from rigid tubing to flexible hose and
the fittings & tooling needed to connect them. Our products are integral to jet engines
and aircraft systems.
Our strong financial position (as part of Marmon/Berkshire Hathaway) and strategic
partnerships allow us to stock inventory which smooths turbulent supply chains. We've
expanded our value-added services from cut to length kan ban programs with customer
ERP integration to kitting / design engineering, offering a one-stop solution for faster
delivery and uninterrupted supply.
We believe in the "Value of Distribution". #VoD
