Join ACG Seattle on Wednesday, November 20th as we hear a great talk from Mari Horita. As Vice President, Community Engagement & Philanthropy, for NHL Seattle, Mari is in charge of developing and advancing the
organization’s community engagement and social impact strategy and objectives.
Prior to joining NHL Seattle, Mari was President and CEO of ArtsFund. In this role Mari crafted and implemented the organization’s strategic direction, as well as oversaw all operations, governance, fundraising, external
relations, and programs for ArtsFund. A lawyer by training, Mari practiced law at Bogle & Gates, and later Dorsey & Whitney and K&L Gates. She has presented on a number of topics including nonprofit governance, art law, creative placemaking, and strategic planning at the University of Washington Evans School of Public Policy and Governance, Seattle University MFA in Arts Leadership, United Way of King County’s Project LEAD, Leadership Tomorrow, the Washington State Bar Association, and the Economic Development Council of Seattle and King County, among others. In 2017 she was honored as a Seattle Reign FC Legend.
