Partner

John joined RSM in 2005, he provides advisory services to private equity firms and their portfolio companies including due diligence investigations, pre- and post-transaction planning, tax consulting, and tax compliance. He has extensive tax experience with publicly held and privately held corporations in the business services, health care, industrial and consumer product industries.

Areas of emphasis include Consolidated tax returns, Multi-state tax issues, FASB ASC 740 (formerly FAS 109)- Accounting for Income Taxes, FASB ASC 740-10 (formerly FIN 48)- Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes, Tax credits, Accounting methods

Before joining RSM, John spent 14 years with a Big Four accounting firm.

Professional affiliations and credentials: Certified public accountant, Florida and Pennsylvania, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Alumnus of Leadership Palm Beach County, Association for Corporate Growth- South Florida-Treasurer, Business Development Board of Palm Beach County.

John holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration and  Accounting from LaSalle University and a Bachelor of Science and Economics from Pennsylvania State University.

Jordan Taylor

Holland & Knight
Co-Head of Private Equity Practice

Jordan Taylor serves as the co-head of Holland & Knight's Private Equity practice in the Miami office. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures and other general corporate matters.

Juan Tagle

Palm Beach Capital
Director

Mr. Tagle is a Jupiter native and Director at Palm Beach Capital. His primary responsibilities include new deal origination, fundraising, and investor relations.

Prior to joining Palm Beach Capital, Juan was a Managing Director at JP Morgan Chase in the Middle Market Banking and Specialized Industries Group. There for 12 years, Juan led a team of South Florida based Middle Market Bankers and worked very closely with companies ranging from $20M-$1B in revenues. Juan was responsible for overseeing the delivery of various product sets including senior credit facilities, debt capital markets, investment banking, and treasury management solutions. Juan was licensed 79 and 63 (both inactive).

Juan is also very involved in local community engagement efforts, and currently sits on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County and the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County.

Juan is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, BS in Finance.

Daniel Florian

Palm Peak Capital
Managing Partner

Dan is a Managing Partner at Palm Peak Capital, serves on its Investment & Executive Committee, and has been engaged in private equity and corporate finance for 20 years. Prior to founding Palm Peak in 2024, Dan was a Partner and Senior Managing Director at Sun Capital Partners leading the North American business services sector investment team.

During his time at Sun Capital, Dan worked on dozens of transactions, across industrial and services verticals including industrial technology, packaging, healthcare services, and facility services. Representative investments include Aclara Technologies, Innocor, SOS Security, Platinum Dermatology Partners, among others.

Prior to joining Sun Capital, Dan worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Miami, FL where he was a part of the Transaction Services Team. He graduated from Suffolk University, currently serves on the Dean’s Cabinet and was elected to their Athletic Hall of Fame (basketball). Dan currently resides in Boca Raton, FL with his wife, two daughters, and a dog, and spends most of his free time watching his daughters play volleyball.

Matt Bergin

Grovecourt Capital Partners
Managing Partner and Co-Founder

Matt has over 15 years of middle market private equity investment experience. Formerly a Principal at Atlantic Street Capital (ASC), Matt worked on all aspects of the investment process with a particular focus on deal sourcing, due diligence, financing, and execution. Matt pursued investments in the healthcare, business services, consumer, and multi-unit retail sectors. Prior to ASC, Matt was a member of the investment team at the Watermill Group, focusing on the industrials and distribution sectors. Matt began his career in secondary private equity investing at Newbury Partners and investment banking at Lazard Frères & Co. Matt has a B.S.B.A. from Georgetown University. Matt lives with his wife and two daughters in West Palm Beach, FL.

Kyle Jones

Farlie Turner Gilbert & Co., LLC
Director

Kyle joined Farlie Turner Gilbert in 2015. Prior to joined Farlie Turner Gilbert, Kyle was an Associate at Trivest Partners, a private equity firm focused on investing in founder and family-owned middle market companies. Prior to Trivest Partners, Kyle worked as an investment banking Analyst at Raymond James. At Farlie Turner Gilbert, Kyle is responsible for leading deal teams and execution across a diverse range of the firm’s mandates, managing relationships with financial sponsors, and overseeing certain operational functions. Kyle received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of South Florida.
