Bill Britton is a Co-Founder & Managing Director of Cross Keys Capital, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is a trusted advisor to his clients and nationally recognized for providing exceptional counsel and guidance to the companies and individuals he serves. Bill and his Cross Keys Capital  team have successfully closed over 25 ophthalmology and retina transactions across the country, including large platform transactions such as SightMD, Southeast Eye and Omni Eye, as well as numerous mid-size eyecare transactions.  Bill has completed hundreds of transactions across a diverse array of industries with a transaction value of over $2 billion. His extensive experience in the healthcare M&A sector includes more than 75 completed healthcare transactions in recent years on behalf of physician practice management, healthcare service, and healthcare technology companies. In 2013, Bill and the Cross Keys Capital team received the prestigious M&A Advisor Healthcare Deal of the Year Award for the firm’s advisory role in creating Resolute Anesthesia and Pain Solutions in partnership with Goldman Sachs Private Capital Investing.

 

Bill has over twenty-five years of experience in M&A and corporate finance as a Wall Street-trained investment banker at Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York. His expertise covers mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, capital raising, and comprehensive business strategies for both public and privately held companies, and he has completed numerous domestic and international sell- and buy-side transactions and IPOs. Jamie Elias

Jamie leads the firm’s non-control investment strategies through the Trivest Growth Investment Fund. He joined Trivest in 1997 and is involved in all aspects of the firm, including the origination of investment opportunities, completing acquisitions, portfolio oversight and firm management. In addition, Jamie manages transaction execution at Trivest. He is a member of Trivest’s Investment Committee and serves as a Chairman or Board Member of numerous Trivest companies including GetixHealth and Northfield Industries. Prior to joining Trivest, Jamie served as a senior accountant in the Audit and Business Advisory Group of PwC, Miami. He received his B.S., magna cum laude, from Boston College and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Cindy Kushner

Cindy Kushner is the Office Managing Partner for the Crowe LLP Fort Lauderdale office. Cindy has over 35 years serving as a tax and strategic advisor to private equity owned, publicly held, and privately owned healthcare companies, including physician practice management companies, medical staffing companies, technology and medical device companies. She has extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions, buy-side and sell-side tax structuring and tax due diligence, domestic and global tax planning, debt restructuring and recapitalization, ongoing compliance and planning.  Cindy also serves clients in the consumer products and cannabis industries, and family offices. 

Cindy serves as a Chairman and Founder of WEL for over 20 years; serves on the Financial Executive Institute (FEI) Florida board and executive Committee, and a HOA board as treasurer. Served on several boards and committees including the Health Financial Management Association (HFMA) Florida board for 5 years; National Board of InterOrganization Network (ION); Advisory Board of National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Florida, the United Way of Broward County’s Governance Committee; past board of director for Florida Venture Forum; and served on the Ambassador committee for Diabetes Research Institute Foundation.

Jeffrey Schillinger

Co-Founder

In April 2002, Mr. Schillinger co-founded EDCare, which was an Emergency Medicine physician practice management company, and served as its Chief Executive Officer. As a result of a recap with BPOC in 2008, EDCare merged with Sterling Healthcare, to create Hospital Physician Partners (“HPP”).  Mr. Schillinger led the growth of HPP, into one of the largest privately held physician practice management companies in the country which was subsequently sold to Schumacher Group, an Onex Corporation portfolio company.  One year later he co-founded DermCare Management, Inc. in September 2016. Today DermCare is one of the fastest growing Dermatology platform companies in the country.

Prior to his work with HPP, and starting in 1994, Mr. Schillinger served as President and CFO of ECS Holdings (“ECS”), another leading physician practice management group. Mr. Schillinger served on the Board of Directors for almost 10 years of Dental One Partners, a 150+ practice Dental Service Corporation backed by MSD Capital. Mr. Schillinger graduated from the State University of New York with a degree in Economics and Business and is a Certified Public Accountant.
