Emily is a manager in RSM’s mergers and acquisitions tax services practice, and focuses on advising private equity groups, publicly traded and privately held companies with respect to tax implications of mergers, acquisitions and restructuring transactions. She has broad industry experience with a focus on healthcare and business and professional services. Emily has worked in public accounting for over 8 years, focused on private equity as well as mergers and acquisitions consulting. 

Jacob Friedman works as an Associate at FMI Capital Partners, a boutique investment bank. In his role, Jacob is involved with all stages of the transaction process, including deal origination, project due diligence, financial analysis, producing marketing materials and targeted outreach. In addition, Jacob is a Jupiter native in South Florida who spends his time-off golfing and fishing.
