Patricia Medina has more than five years of Employee Benefits consulting experience. After earning her Florida 2-15 Health & Life license from the Florida Department of Financial Services, she has built her career advising clients on designing competitive programs that balance cost, compliance, and the well-being of their people. While industry-agnostic in her practice, Patricia has developed specialized experience supporting growing technology companies headquartered in California and New York—two of the most complex regulatory environments in the country. Since joining USI in 2024, she has expanded into the Miami market and beyond, sharpening a consulting style that is creative, proactive, and strategic.

Patricia earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Global Health, from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. She previously traveled to Guatemala to teach sexual-health education to primary school students at Escuela De La Calle, and conducted field research in India on gender-based violence, which she later presented at the Gilman & McNair Scholars Conference. She also served as a research assistant in FIU’s Allen Neurocognition Lab. These experiences shaped a deeply human-centered approach to her work today—meeting people where they are and helping them make confident decisions about their health and well-being.

Patricia is an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Women United Miami, and the Ladies Executive Golf Society (LEGS), and serves as a Board member of The Hive Miami.
