Paul Kao

As Chief Product Officer, Paul Kao leads product development and strategy across Forescout's Asset Intelligence and Control Platform to govern and secure IT, IoT, and OT environments. With over two decades of cybersecurity expertise, he has a proven track record of developing products widely adopted by Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies. Prior to joining Forescout, Paul headed Web Security at Broadcom following its acquisition of Symantec. At Symantec, he played a pivotal role in evolving the company's Secure Web Gateway (SWG) product into a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platform. Previously, Paul held leadership positions at Blue Coat Systems, where he managed multiple engineering teams and expanded into global solution architecture, honing his ability to take customer insights into product management. His efforts were instrumental in delivering industry-leading SWG products during the Web 2.0 era. Paul began his career at MDA/Orbital, working on large-scale aviation systems. He holds a B.Sc. from the University of British Columbia.
