Morgan Lyons

Morgan brings over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He currently leads the loan syndications group at Pinnacle Financial Partners, where he works closely with Pinnacle’s commercial lenders and clients to structure and distribute multi-bank syndicated loans. His expertise spans a broad range of transaction types, including middle market, large corporate, commercial real estate, asset-based lending, healthcare, equipment leasing, music, franchise, and sponsored finance. 

Prior to joining Pinnacle, Morgan was based in Chicago for 20 years where he led the capital markets team at First Midwest Bank from 2013-2019. That followed 10+ years in progressive corporate banking roles at Northern Trust.  Morgan earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2007, and his BSBA from Drake University where he also played collegiate football.
