I am involved with the ACG Toronto Board Executive as Director and Chair.
Why did you join ACG Toronto?
I joined ACG Toronto in 2015 to become involved with Capital Connection. Apart from the immediate interest in Capital Connection, given its compelling content and networking opportunities, I was intrigued by the other programming that ACG Toronto was increasingly building out and the global nature of ACG and the opportunities they presented. ACG Toronto has since continued to evolve and grow, increasing its programming and networking events and building an even better organization and value proposition for professionals in the M&A space. It’s also working to build closer relationships and develop initiatives with some of the key chapters in the ACG U.S. network, providing an opportunity to build relationships in the U.S. Joining ACG Toronto has enabled me to meet a lot of great people and gain some good knowledge, and I look forward to that continuing and growing with its future initiatives.
What do you enjoy most about volunteering?
It’s rewarding to contribute to the events that ACG Toronto puts on, providing great programming in industry knowledge and thought leadership and excellent networking opportunities. The programming is interesting but, first and foremost, it’s a wonderful opportunity to meet some great people.
