Robert is co-founder and leads Promerita Capital Partners, a new private equity and mezzanine capital business focused on the lower middle market. Robert has 20 years experience in corporate finance and investing, with the last fourteen in subordinated debt, mezzanine and equity investing. He has completed over 80 deals across various industries, including management buy outs, acquisitions and growth financing. Robert was vice president and co-founder of First West Capital, a subordinated debt and mezzanine finance provider for small and medium sized companies. Prior to this role, Robert was an Investment Manager at Vancity Capital, a subordinated debt fund. Before that, Robert was Manager, Corporate Finance with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Don Matthew is an audit partner and the National Sector Leader for the Industrial Manufacturing Industry group at KPMG. Don joined KPMG Vancouver office in 1982, worked in the Richmond office between 1985-2000 and was promoted to the partnership in 2000. Don returned to the Vancouver office before assuming the position of Office Managing Partner in Edmonton in early 2006. With a social services background, she has almost 20 years of experience working for various non profit organizations in communications, public relations and program management. Prior to joining ACG BC as a Chapter Administrator, Lena was a Communications Coordinator for the Canadian Jewish Congress. Prior to that, Lena managed a large Federal Youth Internship Program for the YMCA of Greater Vancouver. Lena has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology/Sociology from Simon Fraser University.
