ACG members are invited to attend our complimentary, members-only 8th Annual "Connect the Next Generation to M&A" (previously "Breakfast at Brae Burn") virtual event on January 7, 2022.

Members will have the opportunity to invite their college-aged or recent college graduate children, mentees, or other young professionals who are looking to break into the M&A industry, or to advance in their careers in middle market, to virtually meet other ACG members who can share valuable knowledge and expertise.

The event will kickoff with a panel of ACG members sharing their experiences and advice breaking into the M&A industry. Following the panel, attendees will be placed into smaller breakout rooms for the chance to meet and connect with other participants and ACG members.

Christina Pai

Christina Pai

Partner, Fort Point Capital

Christina is a Partner at Fort Point Capital, a private equity firm focused on investing in promising, business services companies in the lower middle market. Since joining Fort Point in 2011, she has been responsible for sourcing, evaluating and executing investments, as well as driving value creation initiatives for her portfolio companies in the tech-enabled business services, software and transportation/logistics industries. Christina currently serves as the Chair of the Board for AMS Fulfillment and Barrington Media Group and was the former Chair of WolfePak Software and Van Pool Transportation; she also currently serves on the boards of Eventlink and Sullivans.

Prior to joining Fort Point, Christina was a principal at Swift River Investments in Boston and an associate at FdG Associates. She started her career at JPMorgan, focusing on mergers and acquisitions as well as debt and equity capital raises. Christina has a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College. She is an avid Boston and fantasy sports enthusiast and enjoys traveling, fishing for bass and eating at interesting restaurants.

Rudy Scarito

Rudy Scarito

Founder & President, RS Finance & Consulting, LLC

Rudy Scarito has been an investment banker for over 25 years. She started her career in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Lehman Brothers in New York, and later worked on Lehman’s Equity Capital Markets desk where she completed IPO’s and other public equity offerings.

After 11 years Rudy moved back to Boston to be closer to her family, and started working for Tucker Anthony, a Boston-based brokerage firm that is now owned by Royal Bank of Canada.  At Tucker Anthony Rudy started the firm’s Private Capital Group and raised equity, subordinated debt and senior debt for companies at all stages in their life cycles.

Rudy started her current firm, RS Finance & Consulting, in 2009.  At RS Finance Rudy focuses on mergers & acquisitions, primarily representing business owners in the sale of their companies. Rudy also raises equity and debt capital for companies and provides business valuations.  Clients generally range in size from $10 million to $25 million in sales.  Over the course of her career Rudy has completed over 140 transactions.

Rudy has served on the Board of Directors of two publicly traded NASDAQ companies and is currently on the board of the Boston chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, an organization focused on mergers and acquisitions.

Louis Spelios

Partner, Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP

Lou Spelios is a transactional attorney with Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, and has a global mergers & acquisitions practice. Lou has practiced with Bryan Cave since his graduation from law school, starting as an associate in 1998, later promoted to non-equity Partner in 2006 and equity Partner in 2016. Lou graduated from Dartmouth College magna cum laude in 1995 with a major in Government, and received his law degree from Vanderbilt University in 1998.
