Join us for the return of the C-Series Networking Breakfast on September 26, our bi-monthly morning event where the region's middle-market M&A community comes together to network and hear high caliber industry experts share their outlook, opinions, successes and failures in M&A. Greg is a partner with CohnReznick Advisory’s Transactional Advisory Services Practice. Greg brings to this role more than 27 years of experience in finance, auditing, and managing the transactional advisory services practices of national and global professional services firms. Greg built on his extensive experience in conducting financial due diligence engagements, including buy-side and sell-side transactions in the cannabis, technology, software, pharmaceutical, consumer product, chemical, manufacturing, and retail industries. Greg is a member of CohnReznick’s national cannabis industry practice. He has performed due diligence on over 25 cannabis deals throughout the US on behalf of investors and leading multi-state operators. He has moderated and served on cannabis investing and due diligence panels at local and national conferences.

Abner Kurtin

Abner Kurtin is the Founder and CEO of AWH and the Portfolio Manager for JM10 Partners Fund. He has been managing opportunity capital for over 20 years. Abner started his career at The Baupost Group and served as a member of the Presidents Council of Massachusetts General Hospital and Chairman of the Hill House. Abner graduated from Harvard Business School and completed his BA at Tufts University.

Ted Rebholz

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

As Founder and CEO of Temescal, Ted provides strategic and executive-level direction for all aspects of the Company’s operations. Ted led the Company’s licensing applications in MA, NH and MD. Under his leadership and unrelating focus on quality and excellence, Ted has established Temescal as the leading vertically-integrated cannabis company in New England. In addition to Temescal Wellness, Ted is also the founder and CEO of Integrative Health Products, which develops formulations and brand identities for THC- and CBD-infused products for sale in cannabis dispensaries and in mainstream retail outlets. Prior to founding Temescal Wellness in 2015, Ted worked for several years as the consulting CFO to Harborside Health Center, and also in other capital-intensive, highly-regulated consumer sectors. Ted was the first CFO for Beyond Meat (NASDAQ: BYND), a venture-backed (Kleiner Perkins, Bill Gates), vertically-integrated consumer health food company that went public on May 5, 2019 and was the best-performing offering by a major U.S. company in almost two decades. In addition, Ted was the first CFO for WhipTail Technologies, an enterprise storage company that sold to Cisco in 2013 for $415 million in cash. Ted was the Director of Corporate Finance for PE-owned Ports America, the largest ($2 billion) operator of seaport container terminals in the US. Ted began his career at a strategy consulting firm and then at VISA. Ted has a BA in Economics and Philosophy from Columbia University, an MA in International Economics from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University, and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he received the Morgenthau Fellowship from the school’s Department of Business & Public Policy, and the Boren Fellowship from the U.S. Department of Defense.

He’s the Chairman and Founder of Cannapreneur Partners, the exclusive provider of cannabis investments for the Family Office Club. Michael and his team have developed an extensive lead in replicating “Shark Tank” in cannabis for the Boston area.
