ACG Boston is holding an inaugural Family & Founders Event on September 25th 2018, from 8:00am - 10:00am at Wolf & Company. This event is invite only for family office investors and middle market company CEOs.

This new event series will bring together executives of Family Offices and Founders/CEOs of high-growth companies, and will include an interview-style discussion between Grant Gund, Managing Partner, Coppermine Capital, and Jim Atwood, CEO, Agile Magnetics, a portfolio company of Coppermine Capital, on:

  • Different types of family offices and deal structures
  • How family office Direct Investment is shaping the M&A Industry
  • How private companies can partner with family offices, and more

This will be followed by a general networking opportunity for attendees.

Grant Gund is a Managing Partner of Coppermine Capital.  

Prior to joining Coppermine, Grant worked at Megunticook Management, a Boston-based venture capital firm. Before Megunticook, he was General Manager of Aware Records, an independent record label in Chicago.

Grant is currently serving on the Boards of Accord Services, Agile Magnetics, BakeFresh, City Pro Group, Convergent Dental, Fire Suppression Systems, Ray Allen Manufacturing, Space Electronics, Swan Dyeing and Printing and Wholesale Pet. 

In addition to the Coppermine portfolio companies, Grant serves on the Boards of The Foundation Fighting Blindness, The Groton School and Root Capital.  He is a Trustee at The Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary.

He received a BA from the University of Vermont and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
