Lauren M. Smyers

Lauren M. Smyers is the Director of Business Development for Holland & Knight's HK Deal Flow program and brings fifteen years of private equity experience. Based in West Palm Beach, she heads the firm's deal origination, matching, and sharing efforts -- Actively sourcing and facilitating deal introductions for clients and friends of the firm on a no-fee basis.

 

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Smyers led business development and investor relations at private equity firms, where she was responsible for originating investment opportunities, cultivating high-impact relationships, and contributing to capital formation. She earned her B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience, cum laude, from Northeastern University.

 

Ms. Smyers is the Founder of The Fairway Society and serves as a Board Member for the Association for Corporate Growth Women's Group of South Florida. She has been recognized as a Business Development Professional of the Year by The M&A Advisor and the Business Development Professionals to Watch in Private Equity by the Middle Market DealMaker magazine.
