Meghan Harris-Ngae is a Partner leading EY's Climate Change and ESG practice in Canada. Meghan has over 20 years of combined international experience in ESG, sustainability, international government relations and climate change. Meghan has expertise working in Europe and North America with multinational organizations to develop strategies for building long-term value for stakeholders and society. She spends her time working with Boards, Executive Leadership teams and operational leadership teams to strategically address climate change and other Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) matters that have a significant impact on access and retention of capital and long-term performance.

Dino DeLuca

Dino DeLuca joined TriWest in November, 2015 as Chief Operating Officer, a newly created position with the launch of Fund V. As COO, Dino is responsible for and oversees a wide variety of areas within TriWest including finance, investor reporting and relations, governance functions, and administration, as well as supporting the transaction and investment teams and our portfolio companies.

Prior to joining TriWest, Dino was Senior Partner at Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer LLP, a leading Calgary based law firm. His law practice was focused on commercial transactions (including private M&A), banking and equipment finance. He also had a significant role in the management of BD&P as a Member of the Executive Committee, Partnership Admission Committee and Business Development Committee. Dino has been recognized with several honours throughout his distinguished legal career, including being named one of the “Best Lawyers in Canada” continuously since 2006.

Patrycja Drainville

Associate Director, Sustainable Finance
Scotiabank

Patrycja is a sustainability and ESG professional in the Canadian business community. She currently works with Scotiabank’s Sustainable Finance team to provide ESG advice and solutions to corporate, financial, public sector, and institutional clients and deliver on the bank’s commitment to mobilize $100 billion of sustainable financing by 2025. Patrycja has extensive experience advancing sustainability strategy with medium and large North American energy companies leading the way in ESG integration, corporate strategy and disclosure opportunities for the sector. She also held the role of Chair, representing the oil and natural gas sector in the development of the Canadian Standards Association’s Sustainable & Transition Principles and Taxonomy.

Patrycja holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Calgary and is currently working towards her MBA at Dalhousie University specializing in Sustainable Finance. She is board member of the Canadian network of the UN Global Compact, an active mentor and board member of the University of Calgary’s sustainability student association Fuse Collective and was awarded the 2018 Young Women in Energy Award, recognizing women in the oil and gas industry for their leadership, innovation and community service.

Clint Warkentin

Clint Warkentin is an accomplished executive, with over 20 years of experience in the energy industry. Immediately prior to joining Certarus, he spent nine years with ATCO in progressively more senior roles including VP Treasurer, VP Finance & Risk, and Senior Financial Officer. Earlier in his career, Clint held senior positions at TD Securities, Superior Plus, and a renewable power company.

Clint holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan, a CPA CMA designation, a CFA designation, and completed the Ivey Executive Program.

Event Secondary Body

Join us for a presentation and panelist discussion on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), a topic currently at the forefront of many boardroom discussions. The presentation and discussion will be led by Meghan Harris-Ngae (EY Partner and ESG Leader) with panelists from the local business community. We are very excited to be hosting our first in-person breakfast event in awhile and look forward to seeing our ACG members.

The Calgary Petroleum Club will be following the Government of Alberta “Restrictions Exemption Program” which requires all participants show proof of double vaccination in order to be permitted to enter the facility
