Legal design is a powerful method of communicating complex legal advice and information, both in and out of court. This innovative approach combines the power of words with the impact of visualisation. Legal Design is a way of thinking and a proven accelerator when deciding on a legal strategy.

The Legal Design Team at Houthoff, which was set up in 2016, is one of the most innovative in the Dutch legal arena which has even lead to judgments based on the visual metaphor used. The team combines design with the disciplines of human decision-making and behavior and knowledge about cognitive visual processing.

Exclusively for ACG Holland, Houthoff’s Legal Design Adviser Sarah van Hecke will present and explain this trend using several case studies.
